Joe Bennell, Senior Broker with The Colorado Group, Inc. grew up in Lafayette and currently resides in Longmont.  Driven by the philosophy that hard work breeds success, Joe worked multiple jobs in the construction trades, while going to tech school at night, earning his degree in electronics engineering from DeVry.  Joe’s career and education path have shaped him to be very adept at problem-solving, and critical thinking in complicated matters.  Joe’s a great communicator, fun to work with, and well respected among clients and colleagues.

Brokering since 2004 and prior to joining The Colorado Group, Joe co-owned and operated multiple real estate offices throughout Boulder County, providing guidance and support for more than 75 broker affiliates and associates, while actively brokering transactions for his clientele and personal investments.  His commercial real estate focus is in light industrial, office, and multi-family.  Joe loves to serve hardworking, bright-minded professionals with consulting, deal analysis, and full-service real estate brokerage.  Additionally, his background in residential brokerage has helped hundreds of families enjoy the benefits of homeownership along the Colorado front-range.

Joe serves his community by volunteering with the Skyline Longmont Kiwanis Club, and raising money for need based organizations in the community. In his time off, Joe enjoys outdoor recreation with his family; Hiking, biking, skiing, and moto-adventure camping.

Chris Wynja, Broker Associate with The Colorado Group, Inc., grew up in Longmont and graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Business Administration, establishing a solid foundation for his professional endeavors.

Before joining The Colorado Group, Chris worked over two decades as a Sales Leader in the Outdoor Industry. His experience was with renowned brands such as Columbia Sportswear, Sorel, Kelty, Sierra Designs, and Slumberjack. Following this chapter, he transitioned into an independent consulting role, guiding small brands and startups in crucial areas like brand development, sales organization, product innovation, and project management. His adaptable expertise, cultivated through diverse industries, shines through in strategic planning, collaborative teamwork, and value-driven outcomes.

Chris is a versatile professional in the real estate field, with his ownership of commercial properties, experience in small business management, and time spent in corporate roles. This unique background enables him to understand the needs of both tenants and landlords, offering tailored insights for business spaces and property investment. His direct experience with property ownership gives him practical insights into investment decisions, while his understanding of small business dynamics aids in recommending suitable spaces.
